Nicole Hopkins, LMSW
Nicole Hopkins, LMSW is a dedicated therapist with eight years of experience supporting older adults, including those in hospice care and navigating end-of life transitions. She specializes in grief, loss, dementia, and trauma, offeringboth individual support and guidance for families facing these complex challenges. Nicole’s approach is person-centered, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help clients process emotions, find meaning, and develop effective coping strategies. Above all, she strives to create a safe and supportive space where individuals and their loved ones feel heard, understood, and empowered in their journey.
Nicole earned her Master of Social Work from West Texas A&M University in July 2022, following her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Bellevue University in July 2017 and her Associate of Applied Science in General Studies from Amarillo College in December 2015. She began her clinical supervision under Melissa Preece, LCSW-S, LCDC in February 2025 and is committed to furthering her expertise to better serve her clients. Therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or intimidating. It should feel honest, down-to-earth, and human. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can show up as you are with no judgment and no pressure.
I use a person-centered approach with motivational interviewing to help you reconnect with your own strengths and move forward in a way that fits your life, your values, and your pace. I especially enjoy working with young adults who feel stuck or uncertain about their career path, as well as individuals and families navigating dementia, grief, and major life changes. I help with concerns such as trauma, relationship stress, career burnout, and loss.
My goal is to make therapy feel practical, meaningful, and real. A place where growth feels possible and hope feels like something you can actually hold onto.
